I was inspired to make this juice after purchasing a much bigger than needed red cabbage at the local market and having to finish a big, juicy, ripe pineapple too. Strange combination, isn’t it?! I just thought that something that looks so great (vibrant purple – pinkish color) cannot taste bad. I was right…the sweetness of the pineapple balances perfect the red cabbage taste. So refreshing and so good looking too!
Red Cabbage and Pineapple Juice Recipe
1/4 medium size red cabbage
1/4 ripe pineapple peeled and cut into big pieces
Juice cabbage and pineapple. Stir.
Makes 1 serving (16oz)
